Aesop’s  Fables       
 
The Red Herring Puppets visited St. Kateri PK-5th graders yesterday.  The show included: 
The Lion and the Mouse, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Owl and the Grasshopper,  The Fox
and the Crow, The Crow and the Pitchers, and the Stork and the Fox. How many of you can
remember how these fables end?  This assembly was made possible by the funds raised from our
Walk-a-Thon…in other words, thanks moms and dads for making this assembly enjoyable and
a great learning experience.  You might want to re -read these for yourself.

A St. Kateri Student received a special escort to school Tuesday morning.
Second grader, Brent Wickline, got a ride from the Ridge Culver Fire District to St. Kateri School. He won the ride after submitting the most creative plan for getting out of your home in case of an emergency.
Fire officials wanted to make a memorable ride after learning Brent is battling cystic fibrosis and his father is fighting cancer.
His classmates cheered him on when he pulled up in the fire truck.

St. Nicholas will be joining us on December 6th.  He will be leaving surprises in the shoes of the children. He is asking that the children bring in things, listed below, to share with our neighbors at St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center.  Thank you in advance.
